The Iraqi University of Sciences basketball team achieved two victories in the universities championship.

The Iraqi University of Sciences basketball team participated in the Universities Basketball Championship held at Ashur University, which witnessed wide participation of 59 university teams from various Iraqi universities.

The university team managed to make a strong start in the tournament, achieving two consecutive wins in its opening matches. It defeated Al-Noor University in the first match, and then secured a victory over the University of Technology in the second match, in a performance that reflected the spirit of competition and determination among the team’s players.

This participation comes as part of the Iraqi University of Sciences’ commitment to supporting sports activities and fostering a spirit of positive competition among students, contributing to the development of a well-rounded university student both academically and athletically.
