Under the generous patronage of Professor Karrar Nazim Al-Dubaisi, the College of Law at the Iraqi University of Science organized a scientific visit for a delegation of faculty members and students to the Institute for Parliamentary Development at the Iraqi Council of Representatives on Monday, August 31, 2026. The visit was led by Professor Ibrahim Jabbar.

The visit aimed to familiarize students with the workings of the Council of Representatives and its legislative and oversight functions. The program included a lecture by Mr. Abbas Al-Sharifi, Assistant Advisor in the Office of the First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives, who discussed the development of the parliamentary system and the legislative institution in Iraq, as well as the most prominent functions of the Council of Representatives.

This visit reflects the Iraqi University of Science's commitment to bridging the gap between academic study and practical experience and enhancing legal awareness among its students.
